Birdwatch feature on Twitter
This new feature on twitter (a community-driven approach to addressing misleading information) is already controversial but I thought I'd post it here because it falls under this topic:

It's great Twitter is trying to find a solution and to still let people share openly. That's a hard balance. It seems a little complicated, but I also feel like it's what I do independently when I see friends share misinformation on social media. It would be so fun if there were a way for libraries to partner. Like maybe librarians or library social media accounts could have extra weight in correcting misinformation?
Interesting idea.
Not totally the same but I've been loving what the Steak-Umm Twitter has been up to this past year. Every time I see them tweet a thoughful analysis I think, "Maybe we should be the ones doing this..."
